# Don't expect an amenity kit in Economy on a long-haul flight

I've done several transatlantic flights — two with British Airways, two with Singapore Airlines, and four with Lufthansa. In the past I was surprised to receive a **pillow**, **blanket** and other bits. I didn't pay much **attention** to it.

It surprised me, then, when we flew to Denver — albeit in **Economy Class** — with the same carrier (Lufthansa) and **didn't get** an amenity kit. It's quite an unpleasant surprise. Not that I'd miss the socks, but an **eye mask** comes in handy. Especially when you're travelling with people who **don't respect** "night mode".
