# Arizona Experience

*Weather*

One word: amazing. Cool in the mornings, temperatures climbing to 22–23°C during the day. Rock and sand as far as the eye can see. Cacti and palms instead of trees. Didn't spot any rattlesnakes or scorpions.

*Landscape*

The landscape was fascinating. Flat on one side, but the mountains were massive. Right behind the resort they soared up to 2,500 m. We headed out to **Pusch Ridge Wilderness Area**. The road was all switchbacks and views. Perfect for a drive just before sunset. At the top, we were greeted by **snow** — a bit of a surprise.

*Pima Air & Space, Titan Museum*

Since we were in Tucson, we had to visit. Besides **Old Tucson** (where the old Westerns were filmed), there's also an aviation museum and an intercontinental missile museum — and those are exactly what we went to see.
