The Brno city transport company owns 29 trams of the 13T type. Nineteen of them have odd sections configured so that passengers sit facing each other. This creates a narrow aisle between them. When someone who doesn't walk too well, is carrying too much stuff,... passes through, they'll step on your feet! I've already picked up a scuff on the toe (from someone's heel) of my shoes this way. Yesterday an older lady stepped on me — she had to board at the front doors and walk all the way to the middle of the tram. I'd wish whoever chose this layout to commute on exactly these trams every day!
