Don't wash electronics

Like everyone else I sometimes stick my earphones in my back pocket… except today I put those trousers **in the washing machine!* Fortunately I wash without fabric softener, to prevent reducing the capillary performance of the fibres.* Maybe that's what saved them from disaster.
