Duct tape doesn't solve everything…
My shower cubicle isn't that spacious, and drilling into tiles didn't seem like a great idea. So I was looking for a way to store shower gel, shampoo, and all the other bathroom essentials. First idea was a hanging basket. But it keeps swaying around and things can easily fall out.
Then I came across the tesa Powerstrips baskets. A small plastic mounting plate sticks to the surface, and the basket snaps onto it. There's a waterproof version — which caught my attention. So I ordered.
The system is genuinely easy. The double-sided waterproof tape bonds on one side to the wall (tiles, door, whatever) and on the other side holds the plastic plate which holds the basket, hook, etc. Peel, stick to the plate, peel the other side, press onto a degreased surface and hold for a minute. Removal is just as easy and leaves no marks.
Nothing has fallen yet — the basket I chose holds up to 3 kg, and it's held firm with water hitting it every single day…
