There were several storms around Houston as we made our way back...
On approach the pilot warned us it would be bumpy. What I didn't expect was to be launched upwards. It was like a rollercoaster — you're cruising along level and suddenly you're up. As if someone had inflated a cushion beneath us and we were instantly several metres higher. Someone at the front of the aircraft let out a frightened scream... The approach and landing themselves went fine. Taxiing to Terminal D we could see the storm front we'd had to fly through — it looked pretty terrifying. Hats off to the pilot.
