# For a long time beforehand, a friend had been hinting that I should photograph her classmate sometime.

*I always worried that having someone else around would distract me during a shoot.* Not at all. At first it looked like it was going to rain. It didn't, and the result was **some great shots**. I'll point out two of them. The first came about partly planned — she wanted a photo to put on her door so no one would disturb her. I can't even remember how she burst out laughing, but that gave the photo a completely different atmosphere. The second is in a field — a classic. What it is about that photo that hypnotises me I can't say; it has something that can't be described, **it's simply good**.

# Jung Office

A friend asked me whether I'd photograph the interior of her [office](https://kancelarvbrne.cz). Interior photography is always a challenge — you often have nowhere to step back to, walls everywhere. Lighting is also a big unknown. Since my wife was behind the [interior design](https://terapiedomovem.cz), I had a fairly quick brief. I al...

# Self-employment and side work

Due to the impact of changes in Czech labour law, my agreement with Czechitas was terminated. I'm not surprised — the bureaucracy around it is simply insane. Instead, I'll be doing the bureaucracy myself, though hopefully not quite as brutal. I'll still have to prepar...
