What it is and why you should get one

  • At museums you skip the queue!
  • Van Gogh Museum requires booking a time slot
  • The card works as a public transport ticket too (not valid for the airport journey)
  • Whether you're in the city for one or five days, you pick whichever option suits you best

Buying the I am Amsterdam City Card was a great decision. We saw incredible artworks, cruised the canals, visited the zoo. Next time I'd also use it for a day trip to the countryside to visit a windmill.
