Presentation of a Czech IoT company at an open-source conference

After unboxing Turris Omnia I found a flyer for BigClown inside. I'd already heard of them — they make IoT for RPi. When I was looking through this year's Open Alt programme and saw BigClown listed, I wanted to know more. At the end I found out they're planning compatibility with Turris Omnia too! Great news for me! What will I measure? Temperature, pressure, and humidity. I'm not sure where yet... but ultimately I can see potential for adjusting heating temperature based on outdoor temperature. And all for a pretty reasonable price. Follow bigclown.com to learn more.

Playing with sensors, or: IoT is trendy.

BigClown isn't new to me — back when they were looking for backers on Indiegogo I supported them. I thought their idea was great. The advertised integration with the Turris router sounded more than promising.

Turris still doesn't have BigClown support...
