Moderna

Like everyone else, I was waiting for my chance to get the booster. Being among the first vaccinated put me in a tricky spot — five months from my vaccination was up in mid-December. But technically nobody could give it to me before six months… That changed, fortunately, and on 27 December I received PIN2. Being prepared means not being surprised — so I could go the very next day. Registration had been open for a while already; I just had to wait for the booking window to open.

I chose a site that administers Moderna. I wanted the broader antibody spectrum that the Pfizer + Moderna combination offers, which the doctor at the vaccination centre confirmed. It was a quick one — you just tick a few boxes, sign, and then you're sitting in the chair with a needle in your arm.

I naively thought my vaccination certificate in Tečka would update automatically — it's for a specific person after all… Wrong! It's tied to a specific vaccine. So now I have a certificate for Pfizer and one for Moderna (booster).
