IgG after vaccination

I went to donate blood at the beginning of the month — FNUSA offers donors a free IgG antibody level check. Why not take them up on it. I said yes and was curious what the result would be. I'd had a decent reaction so I wanted to know whether that translated into an immune response.

It did. The nurse told me my antibody level was 40,000. Of what exactly I'm not sure — probably AU/ml? Either way it looks like the vaccine is working as it should! I hope that level holds for as long as possible.
