Lightroom was always something of a mystery to me.

When I found out Ondra Uhlíř was running a course on it I didn't hesitate. And as that same evening showed, it was a great choice! We went through the entire workflow, what everything is for... and it all finally clicked into place for me. No offence to Zoner Photo Studio, but I'll now only use it for uploading photos to Zonerama and viewing/browsing photos. Everything else Lightroom and Photoshop can handle. You might ask why the switch? Everything can be done, effectively, in one place — if I don't need complex retouching I won't even open Photoshop. From importing, tagging, selecting, editing, and exporting photos. When I do need to open PS the psd then automatically pairs with the corresponding NEF file. I see only positives — I just need to redo my entire workflow. Which is a minor thing in the context of the time saved and smoother working experience.
