Who wouldn't want faster internet?
And when you have it, you're still not happy. Why? Because speed goes hand in hand with connection quality. If I had a stable 1.5 Mbit/s connection I wouldn't say a word. Right now it's 4.6 Mbit/s but a moment later it can drop to 0.5 Mbit/s. Stability numbers swing from 26.4% to a nearly impressive 94.7%, with a median of 52% — so you can probably imagine what it's like. One minute it's working, then it drops, then it comes back, and so on in an endless loop.
The funniest part is that if I were doing something else I'd just shrug it off. When you can actually see what's going on it's enough to make you cry… Sometimes I revive the connection by resetting the router, other times I just wait for my ISP's server to come to its senses. Like today — the traceroute made it all the way to the last gateway but beyond that not a peep…
