I wanted to try out different scooters…

And I tried quite a few. Yedoo, Kostka, Kickbike, Morxes, and from the electric side — Mamibike.

I tested road, trekking, city, and proper off-road models. Mostly going for 26/20 or 20/20 wheel sizes. I ride a 16/12 myself, so the difference was massive. Weight and agility varied a lot too. My scooter is fairly nimble — some of the borrowed ones were better, some worse.

The cherry on top was the electric scooter. Easily the heaviest of the bunch. Not agile at all, but fast. Which, combined with poor manoeuvrability, makes it pretty dangerous — at least in city traffic.

My favourite was the Yedoo Trexx. It's not just the weight — it's the combination of agility and speed. That one won for me. Special mention to the Kickbike FAT MAX though, purely for the fun factor.

The process is simple. You spit into...
