The Avengers finale is here!

Without spoiling the plot… the film could comfortably have been 20 minutes long. Seriously, everything went according to plan (Thor maybe acts a bit more than he thinks, but fair enough — it was funny).

But you have to have a plot, use lots of effects, and somehow keep the audience in their seats for another two and a half hours. And they pulled it off, no question. There were even some slightly deeper ideas (Thanos) than you'd expect from an action film.

What comes next? We'll see…
