Does it come in black?
If you've seen The Dark Knight, you know what I'm talking about. The Tumbler. An iconic vehicle. The set is missing a few details though — no integrated motorcycle, no drive system. What a shame they didn't throw in servos and motors. A Tumbler that actually drives would be so much more fun.
I searched around and found a tutorial on how to turn the LEGO Tumbler into an RC one. Besides a bunch of extra LEGO bricks, you'll need strong springs, a servo, two motors, a battery, and a remote.
The battery and remote can be handled in one shot — the Buzz hub. It has a battery and Bluetooth built in. You do lose one of the seats, but who needs a seat anyway. Not important. For more power you can use two batteries. The stock Tumbler weighs 2.5 kg after all, so you do need some juice.
If you already have the Tumbler built like I do, you'll have to take the whole thing apart again. It needs to be built bigger. The front wheel mounting is different too. So yeah, expect to put in some work.
