How I became an Apple user — from hater to user in 6 years
Besides my MacBook I now own an iPhone too. It was a long road. The trigger was dissatisfaction — in one case with Windows, in the other with Android — or rather its updates. The system itself suits me, maybe even more than iOS. So what do I get out of it?
A unified ecosystem where the phone and computer can communicate. Updates, available regularly. Apple products are beautiful — the design and its cleanliness are not at all overblown. Nice to look at, nice to use. Yes, they sometimes make fairly illogical decisions (no headphone jack, not enough USB ports). But at the same time their engineers have managed to pack performance into a fairly small package — I don't need to lug around a 15" laptop or a 6" phone.
To sum it up: it was a gradual evolution. I'm a satisfied user. A watch isn't in the plans, but a tablet — sorry, iPad — I'll most likely buy.
