I had the chance to visit Kroměříž.

I made sure to bring my camera along with my new tripod, which held up pretty well. What I appreciated most was its weight — I still don't have a bag for it, so I carry it in my hand.

All the photos are in my gallery. I'll just point out the last two — a pair of close-ups of ornamental shrubs. It might be an occupational hazard, but in the first one I see ©. For the second I'll leave it to your imagination. Overall I expected more from shooting in Kroměříž. The Flower Garden has an interesting setting, but the crowds. I hate when people walk into my shots — and in the Flower Garden and the chateau you can't avoid them. Even so, you can still get some interesting shots. You just have to wait, sometimes quite a while.

It's a shame we didn't visit the Podzámecká zahrada park. Personally I find it more interesting — maybe next time.
