Made to measure
We were heading to a wedding and I discovered something unpleasant. I'd put on a lot of muscle. My arms barely fit in the sleeves, and the jacket was too small across the chest. Which is a shoutout to the Železná koule online coaching program. Time for a made-to-measure suit — off-the-rack won't work for me anymore.
I booked an appointment at Le Premier. Then came the measuring and picking the right colour and pattern. Colour was obvious — blue. Navy, specifically. Fabric too — wool. Choosing from so many patterns is always tough, but I eventually found the right one. Then buttons, lining, stitching... there's a lot to it. After that, just waiting. The suit fit like it was made for me. Because it was.
Since I knew I'd be presenting at an AI conference at the end of September, I was also thinking about a grey suit. Gift vouchers for a future purchase and a request to present on ransomware helped make up my mind. I went back at the end of August to pick out the grey one. The black one is next.
