Workshop with František Birnbaum

I attended another workshop on photography, the topic as always — portraits. It might seem like you'd learn the same things every time, but that's not the case. Each workshop gives me something new. They're small details, and those are exactly what make up the final whole.

We started by clarifying our motivations and expectations, got to know each other and started talking about what works, how, and why. Then came the practical part — finding the right environment. Which is pretty crucial for the overall look of a photo. Without good light you can't do anything — direction, intensity, reflections... everything plays its role. Combined with the right pose and composition, it ultimately gives form to your intention.

I can definitely recommend the workshop. I took away exactly what I needed, and then some. Now it's just a matter of putting it into practice and keeping at it.
