A few hours in Singapore

Time

In total we spent about 17 hours in Singapore (combined across the journey to and from Australia). Changi airport is genuinely large and there are really diverse ways to spend time here. One of the options is a trip into the city.

City tour

Given our flight times, we only had time for the Heritage Tour (Singapore Tour) — a daytime excursion into the city. We saw Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam, and Merlion Park/Marina Bay. There's also a night excursion available (the City Sights Tour), which given the city's skyline is certainly no less interesting.

Climate

The humidity was incredible — add a temperature of around 38° and that's what we were dealing with. It's not pleasant but you can get used to it. Especially if you don't happen to have winter clothes with you (we left in November).
