It's a disaster between Prague and Brno

I traveled on several trains run by Czech Railways and RegioJet within the same week. The stretch between Svitavy and Brno isn't exactly great for coverage, same goes for the Orlice valley. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

RegioJet

  • no problems the entire journey

Czech Railways

  • Railjet, no problems
  • EC Hungaria (Hungarian carriages), dropouts and instability

What more is there to say — if you're offering a service, at least make sure the quality is consistent regardless of which train the customer ends up on. Czech Railways never fails to not surprise me.
