A slightly different concert

When I saw Prague Cello Quartet on the poster I didn't hesitate and bought a ticket — second row, because I wanted to find out what it's like to be so close. But first things first: the concert was a charity event. The audience supported a fundraiser for a new organ in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Královo Pole. Listening from the second row is considerably more intense. The musicians are closer and you can see their hands at work. Especially when during one piece they sat on the edge of the stage... it's just completely different. It wasn't my first PCQ concert so I had an idea what to expect. Even so I enjoyed it — pieces brilliantly performed and five encores at the end? Wonderful!
