Security can't exist without it

Why? You can have the best tool, the best device. If you don't trust the manufacturer to have done everything right (that might be about cabling, testing, redundancy… find whatever matters to you) it's just a waste of resources.

Two days ago an interview with Huawei Czech Republic's new CSO appeared on lupa.cz. I commented on it on Twitter — see the attached screenshot.

Just to be clear — especially to those at Huawei — check out my older tweets too. Maybe you'll take back the follow. Because the next time a new Huawei Cyber Security Evaluation Centre report comes out I'll tweet again, and it will once again mention trust. It's hard to build and quick to lose. After reading the HCSEC reports I haven't gained any trust in your products.

As I said at the start, security is about trust, right? I'm glad you like it too.
