People are used to open days… but an open house — well, a theatre, the Janáček Theatre.

That's a different league. Audiences don't normally get behind the curtain and under the stage. Several stations had been set up for us in various parts of the theatre: the wardrobe, backstage, the spaces beneath the stage, rehearsal rooms, the choir rehearsal room, and the stage itself. Even from the audience seats the theatre seems enormous — but when you're standing on the stage it's even bigger! Everything is huge!
