Discovery

The year came and went, time to give myself a little gift. The choice was obvious this year — the Space Shuttle! The box isn't as massive as the Saturn V, but it's definitely not small either. Open it up and you'll find 17 bags inside, and the manual is far from thin. And I shouldn't forget — the set also includes the Hubble Telescope!

The telescope is quite interactive — you can open it, rotate the solar panels, fold them, and last but not least, dock it inside the shuttle. The shuttle itself is pretty large, roughly 54 cm long and 31 cm wide. The level of detail is fantastic. From the flaps and rudder to the deployable landing gear, the cargo bay with the Canadian Arm, the maneuvering thrusters, and the escape hatch.

Building the whole set takes several hours. The result is absolutely worth it!

We choose to go to the Moon

After a long time I decided to buy some LEGO again. The choice was clear: Saturn V and Eagle, Apollo 11. As a kid I had a few sets — but compared to these boxes they were tiny. Together nearly 3,000 pieces.
