I booked the first available slot. I arrived on time but there was already quite a queue — which moved quickly, though. Volunteers everywhere directing people on what to do and where to go. Filling in the declaration, having your temperature checked, finding your name on the list, and getting a number takes just a few minutes. The most time I spent was in the waiting room.

When called, I sat down again and waited for a brief consultation with a doctor. After the doctor found me on the list she asked how I was doing, whether I have any allergies… and sent me on. In the meantime my electronic certificate arrived. Before I'd even settled in I was already in a chair and the nurse had given me the injection. She explained what to look out for and wished us a good day.

The paperwork followed immediately — hand in the form and get a card with the next appointment date and the lot number of the first dose. Repeat in 42 days. And from the start of August, full immunity.
